American Blanching Company, located in Fitzgerald Georgia, today announced that Jack Warden has assumed the role of President / CEO. The position was previously held by company founder, Allen Conger. Mr. Conger will continue to work with American Blanching in a consulting and advisory role. Mr. Conger will also be involved in assisting with the startup of the new MANA plant that will begin producing a peanut based food supplement for the treatment of children suffering from severe acute malnutrition worldwide.
Mr. Warden has worked in the snack food industry for 30 years. He held various positions with the former Tom’s Foods Corporation which included Director of Engineering, Peanut Plant Manager and Bakery Plant Manager. Most recently he was General Manager for the Snyder’s / Lance facility located in Columbus, Georgia.
Since its beginning in 1990, American Blanching has grown into one of the industry’s top facilities that provide custom blanching and sorting services utilizing the latest advancements in technology. In addition, American Blanching produces granulated peanuts, custom roasted peanuts and peanut butter which is matched to the customer’s exact specifications utilizing a computer controlled processing system that monitors critical points.
